MERKEL 20-BORE DOUBLE-TRIGGER OVER AND UNDER EJECTOR, serial no. 50255, dated 1959, 28in. nitro barrels with solid 8mm top-rib, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 choke in both, three-piece fore-end, bolstered scroll-back action, hold-open toplever, manual safety, cocking indicator studs, articulated front trigger, border and partial scroll engraving, retaining traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14 3/4in. pistolgrip stock including 5/8in. extension and buttplate, weight 6lb. 4oz.
